Summary:
Responsible for maintaining and fixing all the machines and equipment in the tempering department through an in-depth understanding of the entire tempering process, the machines and equipment in use.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Assists the Maintenance Technician III with the maintenance process by guiding workload, providing training and trouble-shooting guidance to Maintenance Technicians I.
Implements the routine equipment maintenance schedule that the Maintenance Technician III puts into place in conjunction with each tempering shift.
Performs inspections on all machinery and equipment to look for signs of misuse and to fix normal wear and tear before it becomes a larger issue that could affect production.
Uses knowledge of all machinery and the tempering process to assist in equipment set-up, monitoring and adjusting equipment functions and trouble-shooting breakdowns and issues.
Ensures working environment is clean and safe.
All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent understanding of the tempering process and all of the machinery used.
Ability to read a tape measure and identify written measurements.
Operates machinery including saws, drills, and power tools with precision.
Strong attention to detail skills and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well with a team and under pressure.
Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of previous work experience in related industry required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 70lbs.
Mostly standing and walking.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
